Mrs Bectors Food IPO subscribed 198 times, Biggest Subscribed IPO in a Decade
The public issue of Mrs. Bectors Food Specialities, a leading premium biscuit and bakery firm in north India with a 4.5 percent market share, was subscribed 198 times on the final day of bidding.
Till 5 pm, on the last day of the three-day offering, the IPO attracted bids for more than 2.62 billion shares compared with an issue size of 13.24 million shares. At the upper end of the Rs 288 price band for the issue, the IPO drew bids worth roughly Rs 75,486.02 crore
The company had offered shares in the price band of Rs 286-288 a piece.
According to analysts, grey market premium for the shares was nearly 80% or Rs225-230 on the final day of subscription. The allotment for the IPO will be likely announced on 22 December and listing is likely to happen on 28 December.
Mrs. Bectors Food IPO comprises a fresh issue of Rs 40.50 crores and an offer for sale of Rs 500 crore by Linus Pvt Ltd., Mabel Pvt Ltd, GW Crown Pte Ltd, and GW confectionary Pte Ltd, aggregating to Rs 541 crore.
